item. We've used an order of 250g Marmite jars as an example. The chart shows a shipment going
to Kansas City - a trip of about 1750 miles. Shipping rates shown are the cheaper of UPS or USPS
(dependant on weight, April 2010 rates) and include our $1.75/order handling charge .

rates). Your delivered cost is $18.00 per jar. If instead you order a full case of 250g Marmite
jars shipped to the same address, your total cost would be $115.80. That would only be $9.65
per jar delivered to your door! That’s about half the delivered cost of a single jar.
The savings come from a combination of our reduced case pricing and from lower per-unit
shipping costs. For most people here in the States, $9.65 is much less than they would pay
for a 250g jar of Marmite in a local store – assuming they can even find it near by.
Put another way – if you go through a jar every two months, you will save almost $43 over the
next year if you order a single 6-Pack instead of ordering one jar at a time! (And with one
sixth the effort on your part.) Of course, you are very welcome to order as little or as much as
