Payment Policies

Credit Cards
MarmitePantry.com accepts credit cards from Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
When using your card, please provide your credit card billing address if different from the shipping
address. If the billing address does not match the one on file at the financial institution, if
authorization is not given for any reason, or if the issuing bank cannot support verification efforts
we reserve the right to cancel the order.

PayPal
We do accept Paypal and it is the simplest checkout method if you are a PayPal member.  During
check-out, just select PayPal for your Payment Method and you will be taken to the Paypal site so
you can enter your PayPal password and select your funding source.  You will then be
automatically returned to MarmitePantry.com for final order confirmation.

Checks & Money Orders
We also accept checks and money orders.  To pay with a check or money order: Complete the
typical check-out procedure.  When "credit card type" is requested during check-out, please select
"Checks & Money Orders" from the drop-down list.  Print and mail the final "Confirmation" page
along with the payment to
MarmitePantry.com.   While we attempt to bank-approve personal and
business checks for immediate shipment, this may not always be possible and in some cases we
may hold your order for 10-12 business days to verify funds. To ensure that your order is shipped
as quickly as possible, you may want to send a money order, certified check or use your credit card
or PayPal. Customers whose checks are returned to us because of non-sufficient funds will be
charged $30.00 for handling in addition to the amount of the check. (Let’s not go there!) If it
becomes necessary for us to use an attorney or collection agency, you will be responsible for all
collection fees. (Let’s definitely not go there!)

Shipping Costs and Policies

Finding your exact shipping cost is easy.  Simply select an item(s) by clicking the "Order" button
and use the Shipping Calculator on the shopping cart page.  The calculator allows you to select
different shipping methods so you can compare rates.

We ship UPS and USPS Mail within the United States, giving you multiple shipping options to
choose from at check-out.  To keep shipping costs as low as possible, MarmitePantry is directly
linked to the UPS website so you are charged real-time shipping cost based on the shipping weight
of each order.  In addition to the shipping cost, we add a $1.75 handling charge to each order,
regardless of order size.  This covers packaging materials and labor involved in getting the order
ready to send to you.  These shipping and handling charges calculate automatically on the check-
out page so that you will know your total cost before you enter your credit card information.

We try to ship all orders the same day or by the next business day at the latest.  Your account is
not charged until we have your order ready to ship. Your shipment is also fully insured by
MarmitePantry.com at no extra cost to you.

UPS does NOT ship to P.O. Boxes. So if you need your order shipped to a P.O. Box you must
select USPS Priority Mail or USPS Express Mail under shipping options in the check-out process.

We do ship to APO and FPO addresses.

At this time, we are not able to ship outside of the United States (sorry, no International orders).

Order Status Policies
If you are like most customers you want to know that your order has been received and that it is
being processed in a punctual manner.  Our policy is to contact you once by email to let you know
that your order has been received and then to email you a second time when it ships.  
The
second email will contain your tracking number.
 Typically you will receive both of these emails
within one business day of placing the order because by then your order will be on it’s way to you.

Return Policy
We are not happy until you are happy so please don’t hesitate to contact us via email if there is a
problem with your order.  If for any reason you are not happy with your shipment from
MarmitePantry.com, please consider returning it to us for a refund.   We will accept merchandise
for return within 30 days of receipt but food items
must be in new and unopened condition.  
There is no restocking fee for qualified returns.

Backorder Policies
Our website will limit your order to available stock.  That way you know for sure when you place
your order whether or not the products you want are available.  Even though our system will not
automatically take back orders, please do not hesitate to
contact us by email if you want to place
an order for an out-of-stock item.  We can usually re-stock within two or three days.


Website Error Policy
All prices, pictures and descriptions on this site are subject to change. We do our best on our site
to be accurate but in the case of an inadvertent error, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse
orders at our discretion.


Privacy and Security Policy

Your Personal information
When you place an order with MarmitePantry.com, you will be asked for information that we need
to complete that order, such as: Name, Address, Email address, Phone number and Credit Card
Information.
 At MarmitePantry.com we are very aware that our customers are concerned about
this personal information. We are too.

Our assurance to you is that we will only use personal data to complete your orders and to
communicate with you about your orders.  
We will not give, sell, trade or otherwise disclose
personal information about you to anyone else.
 (A rare exception would be the release of
information when we believe, in our reasonable discretion, that such disclosure is warranted to
cooperate with law enforcement agencies.)  We maintain this same policy for personal information
you give us about someone else, such as when you have us ship a gift to a friend or family
member.

We do not use your address or email address to send you promotional advertising, special sales,
newsletters or the like.  We may use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design
our website or to understand our customer’s needs, but we do not disclose individual or personal
information in the process of doing that.  (An example might be data gathered to determine how
many orders are from the state of Maine.)

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of
information, the server we use has in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial
procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online for completing your orders.

The order form pages for MarmitePantry.com are served through a secure https connection using
128-bit SSL v2/v3 encryption.  Credit card information is encrypted when a shopper enters the
credit card number in the web browser, when it is sent to the server, and finally when it is accessed
for filling of the order.

Our Host Company’s Policy
This site is hosted by Yahoo! Store. Yahoo! hosts the store pages, ordering system, and order
data. Yahoo! automatically collects order information but may only use this information in the
aggregate. If you accessed this store through Yahoo! Shopping, Yahoo! also automatically
collects information about your shopping experience. Please see the Yahoo! Privacy Policy for
more information about how Yahoo! uses this information.
